Each item flows effortlessly into DPAS, where automation takes over to collate every prescription by patient Rx number, ready for quick and accurate dispensing.
Once a prescription is fully collated, the patient’s queue number/ tote ID appears on the queue display monitor. This visual cue directs the picker straight to the correct pigeonhole, ensuring fast and accurate handovers.
When the correct tote is validated, DPAS instantly validates the action and frees up the pigeonhole, making it immediately available for the next prescription. It’s a smooth, closed-loop process that minimizes downtime and maximizes throughput
